Cross-lot

The cross-lot is a promotional practice of temporary price reduction. It consists in selling units of different but complementary products by applying a discount on the original prices of each product. For example, a binder, a pack of notebooks and a pack of pens can form a cross-lot.

Properly executed, cross-lots make it easier for prospects to move to purchase or consumption and encourage customers to consume more. They also allow you to test products.
