Marketing is translated by the term mercatique in French. It is a strategy put in place by companies to influence consumer behavior. The objective of marketing is to convince consumers to prefer a particular brand through targeted offers. Indeed, the products and services developed are designed to meet the specific needs of consumers. These needs constitute the very heart of the marketing approach.

In the marketing department, all commercial actions are focused on consumer knowledge. In addition to building customer loyalty, this department is responsible for continuously expanding the company’s customer portfolio. To do this, the teams do everything possible to increase the perceived value of products and services for customers. The role of marketing is therefore to create economic value for the company.
