This refers to the Office for the Justification of the Distribution of Advertising Media. It is an interprofessional organization founded in 1926. Composed of advertisers, publishers and other advertising professionals, this organization is responsible for controlling the distribution of the press. The OJD is responsible for measuring the audience of press titles. The latter rely on the figures provided by the OJD to promote themselves to advertisers and media agencies.
