Range width

« Back to Glossary Index

A product line can consist of several product lines. The width of a range is the number of lines offered within a range. A clothing brand can offer, for example, a range of products for men and another range for women. The women’s line includes several product lines including: skirts, dresses, sweaters, pants, tops and accessories. The width of the women’s clothing range is therefore 6. Each product family or line can, in turn, be composed of several product references.
